What data we process

• Playing as guest: the game runs entirely in your browser. No account is needed and no gameplay data is sent to us.
• Account & saved games (optional): if you register, we store your email address, a salted password hash (Argon2id — we never store your password itself), and your save games (game state and a small screenshot of the moment of saving). This data is used solely to provide the save/load feature (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR).
• Session cookie: after login we set one strictly necessary, httpOnly session cookie (lastwick_session, valid 7 days) so you stay signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
• Server logs: our web server briefly processes technical data (IP address, time, requested URL) in log files for operation and security (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

What we do not do

No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, no sharing of your data with third parties. The game is hosted on our own server in the EU.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To delete your account and all saved games, simply write to bearerof@thelastwick.com.
